Building in Spokane
Spokane is a short run west of our shop, and Eastern Washington has been part of our service area for as long as we have been building. Around the city we have built in Spokane Valley and Newman Lake to the east, in Colbert, Deer Park and Elk to the north, and in Cheney to the southwest.
Crossing the state line changes the paperwork, not the building. A pole barn in Spokane County is the same post-frame structure we put up on the Idaho side, with the permit pulled in Washington instead.

Pole barns, shops and garages
Around Spokane we build the same range we build at home: shops and garages, pole barns for horses and equipment, and commercial post-frame buildings. The nearest examples in our photo library are in Hauser, just over the state line from Spokane Valley, where we built the shop and the riding arena shown below.

Barndominiums in Spokane
For a family moving onto acreage outside Spokane, a barndominium is often the simplest route: finished living space and shop bays under one roof, designed, engineered and permitted as one project instead of two. It is our specialty, and on the Washington side it is permitted as a dwelling like any other home.

How a Spokane project runs
The first step is a free on-site review of your site, access and setbacks. We then coordinate the stamped engineering, file for the permit with Spokane County, the City of Spokane or Spokane Valley, and schedule materials and a crew start date, the same way we run a job in Idaho.
