This policy explains how CDA Structures, Inc. ("CDA Structures", "we", "us") handles information collected through this website. It covers the website only. It does not cover information you give us in person, over the phone, or in a signed construction contract.

Information you give us
The quote form on this site asks for your name, email address and phone number, which are required, and optionally your site address, city, state and ZIP, along with details about the building you are planning: size, door counts, whether you want it insulated or finished, and any notes you add.
We ask for this so we can prepare an accurate quote and get back to you. Please do not send us payment card numbers, bank details, Social Security numbers or other sensitive identifiers through this form. We will never ask for them by email.
Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, who host this website, and are emailed to our sales team. Netlify acts as our service provider for that.
The building configurator
If you use the building configurator on our home page and click through to the quote form, your configuration is passed along by being saved in your own browser's session storage and read back on the next page. It never leaves your device unless you choose to submit the form, and your browser discards it when you close the tab.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the site you arrived from. Our host, Netlify, keeps these server logs for its own security and operational purposes.
Site analytics. We use our own analytics software, self-hosted on infrastructure managed by our website provider on our behalf and served from this site's own domain rather than by an analytics company. Your visit is not disclosed to a third-party analytics service, and no analytics cookies or similar identifiers are set in your browser.
It records which pages are read, the site you arrived from, roughly where in the world you are, and what browser and kind of device you use. It also records when a visitor taps our phone number, opens directions to us, or asks for a quote, along with the page that happened on, so we can tell which pages actually bring people to us. We use it for aggregate reporting only. It does not identify you personally, it does not follow you to other websites, and none of it is used for advertising.
The map on our contact page. That page embeds a Google map so you can see where we are. It loads directly from Google when the page opens, which means Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies inside that frame, whether or not you touch the map. This is the one place on the site where a third party sees you without you choosing to go there. It happens only on the contact page, and what Google does with it is governed by Google's privacy policy rather than ours.
How we use information
We use what you send us to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, schedule an on-site review and carry out work you engage us for. We use the automatically collected information to keep the site working, to understand which pages are useful, and to decide what to improve.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with the service providers named on this page, and where we are required to by law.
Your choices
Our own analytics sets no cookies and builds no profile of you, so there is no cookie of ours to refuse. If you would rather not be counted at all, a content blocker or your browser's script blocking will stop it running, and nothing else on these pages depends on it. The one exception is the embedded map on our contact page, which is Google's and may set Google's cookies; blocking third-party cookies, or simply not opening that page, avoids it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Email info@cdastructures.com and we will respond. We will not treat you differently for asking.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and related correspondence for as long as we are working with you and afterwards for as long as we need them for business and record-keeping reasons. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized and is kept on our own infrastructure rather than by a third-party analytics provider. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, email us and ask.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No website can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us and we limit access to the people who need it.
Children
This site is meant for people arranging construction work and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Other sites we link to
This site links to other organizations, including our trade partners and our Facebook page. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's site, governed by their privacy policy, not this one.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
