Steel & Metal Storage Buildings

Metal storage buildings that fit your individual needs, from extra storage to a full workshop.

Metal storage buildings that fit your individual needs

A steel shop or garage is a building finished for storage and work: clear-span bays, overhead doors sized to what you are parking, and a steel roof and siding. CDA Structures builds them post-frame or all-steel, pre-engineered or fully custom, across Idaho, Washington and Montana.

We offer steel and metal storage buildings, including shops and garages, in a wide variety of pre-engineered and customized designs. If you are ready to store your motor-home, rebuild your hot rod, or just need extra storage space, we can find the right shop or garage for you.

Choose from pre-designed steel or metal storage buildings, or let CDA Structures work with you to custom design a building that fits your needs.

Whether you are located in Idaho, Washington or Montana, we can build your ideal structure. CDA Structures is centrally located in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and we serve clients in Hayden, Spokane, Missoula and many more surrounding cities.

Building something else? We also put up barndominiums, metal barns and equestrian arenas and commercial steel buildings. Or see every pole building type we build.

Shops & Garages: common questions

01Can I add to or finish the building later?
Absolutely. Many customers start with a shell and add insulation, electrical, plumbing, or interior finishes over time. We can also design lean-to additions or future expansion bays into the original structure so adding on later is straightforward.
02Do you handle permits and engineering?
Yes. We coordinate stamped engineering plans and pull permits for your jurisdiction. Our team is familiar with building departments across North Idaho, Eastern Washington, and Western Montana.
03What type of payment schedule does CDA Structures offer?
We follow the golden rule of the BBB payment process for construction. Once the sales contract is signed, we require a deposit that consists of 10% of the building cost. Upon delivery of the materials, we will invoice another 50% to cover those costs. After the framing has been completed, the third installment of 30% will be invoiced with the remaining balance due upon completion. The balance due will include any change orders and/or upgrades if applicable. It is also important to note that some projects can deviate from this payment schedule outline.
